Utah and the Netherlands: A Gateway to Your European Growth 🇳🇱 

With over one-third of the European Union's population living within a 300-mile radius, the Netherlands stands out as a crucial gateway to Europe. Its advanced infrastructure for transporting goods, people, and data has positioned it as one of the top trading nations globally.

In 2022, Dutch economic growth outpaced much of the EU, driven by the country’s innovative infrastructure and robust financial network.

Join World Trade Center Utah and the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency to learn why the Netherlands is the ideal starting point for new-to-export companies looking for their first European venture.

Theo Peters, consul general of the Netherlands in San Francisco

Mr. Peters began his diplomatic career in 1992 at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He served as a Policy Advisor in the East Asia and Oceania Unit from 1992 to 1994 and then at the Political Affairs Unit at the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Jakarta from 1995 to 1997. From 1997 to 2001, he was a Personnel and Management Advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He held various roles at the Embassy in Tokyo and the Permanent Representation to the EU in Brussels from 2001 to 2011. Since September 2011, he has been the Head of the Non-proliferation, Disarmament, Arms Control, and Export Control Policy Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
