World Trade Center Utah sets course for India
Globally recognized for their innovative and competitive outputs in health and wellness, aerospace and defense, and artificial intelligence, India presents Utah companies with dynamic opportunities for international growth. India also boasts the world’s 5th largest economy by nominal GDP and the third-largest by purchasing power parity (PPP).
Led by former Utah Governor Gary Herbert, a business delegation organized by WTC Utah traveled to India enhance bilateral relations and identify opportunities to collaborate across several industry and government sectors. The delegation included representatives from EDCUtah, the Salt Lake Chamber, 47G as well as business and government leaders.
Maximizing their time, the delegation met with representatives of think tanks, innovation hubs, chambers of commerce, venture funds, as well as government ministers of education and technology and the U.S. Commercial Service and the U.S. Consulate.
While in India, World Trade Center Utah also participated in the the 54th annual WTCA Global Business Forum (GBF) in Bengaluru, India. Taking place March 3-6. This event brought together global leaders in business, government, and international organizations to gain insights into India’s economic opportunities and form valuable partnerships.
