Utah x Japan: Expand Your business 🇯🇵🏔️

Did you know Japan ranks #4 globally in R&D spending and #1 in patent applications?

We welcomed Hiroyuki Okajima, Japan’s new consul general in Denver, and Akira Kajita with JETRO - Japan External Trade Organization for a seminar on accessing this thriving Indo-Pacific market. Last fall, a 47-member Utah delegation visited Tokyo on a trade mission, securing $76.7 million in potential deals—we’re keeping the momentum going!

Industry experts, including Akira Kajita (JETRO) William Myers (Chevron New Energies), Nozomi Markley (Panasonic North America), and Franz Kolb (Utah Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity), shared key insights, thank you for your participation!

We are grateful to our partners Utah Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity and Salt Lake Chamber for helping make our Crossroads of the World events possible!

This event is hosted in partnership with the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity, the Salt Lake Chamber, and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).
